I absolutely adore libraries! At the risk of sounding like a complete nerd (which I admit, I kind of am...), I love collecting books sky high and checking them out to savor them for two weeks before having to return them. I'm studying to be a kindergarten teacher, so I also have a warm place in my heart for children's books. After a recent trip to the library with my prince charming, I thought I'd recommend some books to my blog readers. Have a look-see, they are excellent choices!
- Elizabeth Taylor: My Love Affair with Jewelry- If you love things that sparkle, glisten, and gleam, this book is for you. Afterall, "diamonds are a girl's best friend"
- Southern Living: Homestyle Classics- I am a big fan of their magazine- and of course all things Southern! Try the 10 cup cookies and the fruit salad with honey pecan dressing. PC and I made dinner for his Momma last night and both were big hits!
- What would Jackie do?- I think all preps can agree: JBKO was the epitome of style and grace. This clever little book talks all about how to incorporate the Jackie way of life into your own!

- The Modern Girl's Guide to Life- From making the perfect rib eye to folding a fitted sheet this book has it all! I loved reading it and learning a little to better my status as a domestic goddess in training.
- A is for Apron- I have to admit, my favorite part of baking is wearing an apron. This books has hundreds!
- Fancy Nancy- Ok, confession time: I love children's books. They are absolutely precious and so clever! This series, about a little girl named Nancy who desperately wants to be fancy will have you smiling for days!
- Debrett's Etiquette for Girls- This book didn't tell me anything my mother didn't teach me, but it was filled with beautiful photos and suggestions for behaving gracefully in every situation under the sun.

I hope these recommendations give you some inspiration to indulge in your own local library. Happy reading!
